A farmer in Sigatoka will soon be driving home with a brand new Hyundai Santa Fe worth $105,000.
The MH Christmas promotion draw was done at the MHCC complex in Suva yesterday where the farmer, who has not been contacted, won the fully loaded SUV (Sport-utility vehicle).
The Christmas promotion ran for 11 weeks where 6248 winners went into the final draw.
Carpenters Fiji Limited director retail and marketing Kunaseelan Sabaratnam said every year when they approached the festive season, especially Christmas, they always had something big as their biggest promotion of the year.
“Last year, we called it the season of joy where we put our biggest prize, a Hyundai Santa Fe,” he said.
“Last two years, we have changed our competition into new dynamics. Instead of everyone participating and wait for one day draw, we broke it up into smaller draw where we had 568 winners every week for 11 weeks around the country.
“While the participants were going into the main and major draw, they had the chance to win something along the road as a double gift for our customers.
“These promotions attract everyone and it is one of our ways to thank our loyal customers for being with us and shopping with us.
“We are also looking forward to MH’s 150th anniversary this year. MH is the first company in Fiji which will celebrate its 150 years of existence.
“The launch and promotion for MH’s 150th anniversary will start from June to December. We just want to thank our customers for being there with us for 150 years.
“Max-Value is one way of us repaying our customers who have been with us all these years with special prices,” Mr Sabaratnam said.
