Highlanders v Chiefs Early Bird ticket sales specials now OPEN

The four-month countdown to Fiji hosting the Investec Super Rugby clash between Pulse Energy Highlanders and Gallagher Chiefs in Suva has begun.

With it, the official launch of Early Bird ticket specials for eager rugby fans in the country and abroad from March 1.

Ticket Direct chief executive and managing director Matthew Davey has urged fans to secure their tickets to what could be a Super Rugby decider for both teams.

“There’s no telling how teams will fare at the moment with the first two rounds underway but one thing is for sure, come June 30 table standings will be crucial and with the All Blacks jumper up for grabs for squad members.

“Fijian fans are sure to see the best Super Rugby this year has to offer in world-class display,” said Davey.

Excitement fills the air with the new Suva-based home side, the Highlanders already sending in merchandise to commemorate this pre-sales period for their game at the Fiji Sports Council’s ANZ Stadium in Suva, at 7.15pm on Saturday, June 30.


Fiji Sports Council chief executive officer and Super Rugby 2018 Steering Committee chair, Litiana Loabuka said with Fiji hosting for the third successive year– Fijian rugby fans know all too well the importance of picking up their game tickets early.

“Launching the pre-sale of tickets four months out from the game provides a huge convenience for all patrons to secure tickets early at an attractive discounted price, and Highlanders merchandise to boot.
“Everyone has ample time to plan to purchase early without being disappointed on the game week rush.

“Besides, tickets are cheaper on the Early Bird specials and we encourage early purchases as it greatly assists with easy crowd control upon entry once gates open on Game Day.”


The Highlanders reached the quarterfinals last year but, with an awesome first round 41-34 win over the Auckland Blues a week ago,

Fijian players Waisake Naholo and outside back Tevita Nabura are set to grace our shores for the Highlanders.

Fijian rugby fans will not want to miss this June clash.
