The five-member team from the Royal New Zealand Army and Air Force band will join some 400 Royal suvaonline.com/local/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>fiji Military Forces in the much-awaited Military Tattoo which starts today.
The event which starts at 3pm tomorrow at the ANZ Stadium is expected to showcase the best the RFMF band has ever offered.
Organising committee chairperson Commander (Navy) Lepani Vaniqi says the public does not want to miss out this once-in a life event.
This year the band commemorated its Centennial celebrations in August and the show tomorrow is culminating the band’s journey.
Commander (Navy) Vaniqi said: “The first segment will commence from 3pm to 7:20pm where the public will be entertained by local artists like- Voqa ni Delai Dokidoki, Wai Koula Kei Tavua, Leba Boi Yawa and Laisa Vulakoro”
“The second segment of the programme is the military tattoo and the chief guest will be the Commander in Chief, His Excellency the President of the Republic of suvaonline.com/local/ target=_blank class=infotextkey>fiji.”
Today is the final rehearsal where children from orphanages have been invited.
“We are grateful that some corporate sponsors have come onboard to assist us in hosting them.
“Tickets for Friday are selling fast and I would recommend for those intending to watch the show on Friday to buy their tickets early to avoid disappointments.”
